US taking over Georgian Ports!
Now that the cold war is over, are we going to enter a hot war with Russia over Georgia? The verdict is out. Once we occupy Georgian ports, which is where Russia Black Sea fleet calls home, are the Russians going to try to take the ports back?
Where the Russian fleet calls home? I think some news source is leading you astray...
Moscow might like to control the Georgian coast, but its Black Sea fleet is largely based in Sevastopol. Of course, that is in Ukraine, which is a whole different set of problems. And given some recent statements by Kyiv, those problems are getting more complex.

The Russians have a lease that runs out in 2017, I think. The Ukrainians have already told them it will not be renewed.
