Welcome to the echo chamber Michelle. The law in question was signed by Clinton over ten years ago to stop an epidemic of vandalism and theft of military equipment. It does NOT cover equipment lost in combat. There are procedures for disputing your "bill," however the guy in the article decided to go to his local new channel first, I guess that is more fun. I think you are close to the 100,000 blogger to link to it....
