I have an idea for a blog entry that compares and contrasts my brother to a major political figure. My thoughts are on race, class, and educational and economic achievement.
Is this exploitative to use my brother as a pawn for my political point of view?
Just three things to keep in mind probably. Is it nice, is it true, is it necessary. Or course all of those things are subjective. So try this: will it make your brother mad or hurt his feelings? If not, then why not post?

ReplyDeleteFurthermore, we speak from what we know best, so if your brother helps you bring forward your ideas more clearly, then it's all the more worthwhile.
Mariar thinks you should write the Ethicist. She's also stunned that I have a log-in on your blog and she doesn't.
