So what does this mean? Does it mean that the older generations care more about the world we live in more than the younger generations, even though chances are they won't be here as long? May be it says something about being older is wiser? Or may be it has something to do with how the younger generations grew up in a much more of a throw-away society? Life comes easier, and someone will be there to take care of problems. In the economics world, we call them "free riders."
